At the end of last year, we vowed to keep up our health and pursue it wholeheartedly in the New Year. Stonyfield helped get us through the holidays, but I’m also happy to report that we’ve stayed the course in a big way and Stonyfield has played a major role in that endeavor!
I thought I’d share some of my favorite ways that we put Stonyfield to good use and suggest some great options to you for feeding your family well without having to worry about the nature of the ingredients that are being used. First up, after my daily workout, I usually end up making a protein shake. In addition to adding my favorite protein powder, spinach, chia seeds and sometimes bananas, I also add almond milk and Stonyfield French Vanilla Fat-Free Yogurt or Greek Yogurt Superfruits. to give it a little extra protein oomph and the added bonus of making it all the creamier! (I kind of want to grow up and marry Superfruits. Because they are that amazing. And delicious. Whoa-sa. On the weekends I love to whip up a double batch and share with my hubby or littles. It’s a family favorite! (Think big – smoothies, shakes, you name it!
One of my other BRAND NEW favorites are the Organic Protein Smoothies – flavors of Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla – I can have a quick breakfast or after workout snack on the go without feeling like I’m cheating the nutrition bank. Perfect on the go, or any time you need a quick nutrition and energy boost. Organic and gluten free. No artificial sweeteners. My husband – who doesn’t even LOVE yogurt the way my boys and I do – will drink these up on his way to work or after a workout during his lunch break. I HIGHLY recommend these as a new found favorite.
They are also a fantastic way to make it through the end of a series that you may or may not be crying over as you come up on the last episode on Netflix…
