Serves: 6
- 1 lb. ground chuck, 80/20
- 1 lb. ground beef, 85/15
- ¼ c. diced onion
- 1 raw egg, mixed
- ¼ cup, finely crushed tortilla chips
- ½ packet of Kraft Ranch Dry Dressing Mix
- 2 tbsp. Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp. Worstershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. Kraft Barbecue Sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- Sliced avocado
- Kraft cheddar cheese slices
- Homemade onion rings (recipe below)
- Tomato slices
- 2 slices of cooked bacon
- Mixed Creamy Kraft Ranch Spread
- Large circle pretzel rolls, sliced
- Combine chuck, beef, onion, tortilla chips, dressing mix, mayo, worstershire sauce, barbecue sauce, and garlic salt.
- Mix well and add egg.
- Incorporate well and form into patties roughly the size of your buns.
- Place two fingers in the burger to form a shallow well.
- Refrigerate until ready to grill.
- When ready, grill on each side until the burger reaches desired doneness. (We prefer medium rare, so my hubby handles that part!)
- Before removing from the grill, top with two slices of bacon and the best part - the cheese slice! Allow to melt.
- Remove from heat and let burgers rest.
- Place each side of the pretzel bun on the grill to toast slightly.
- Layer as follows: ranch spread, cheeseburger, tomatoes & avocado, one homemade onion ring, top bun
Homemade onion rings recipe can be found at the bottom of this post.
