Superhero Shawarma

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ c. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. allspice
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Cut chicken into larger chunks.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients and ¼ c. olive oil.
  3. Marinate chicken in oil and dry ingredients mixture for approximately one hour.
  4. Heat oven to 400 degrees and cook chicken on oiled or tin-foil pan for 15 minutes, turning half-way.
  5. Let chicken cool and slice thin (like traditional shawarma).
  6. Pan fry in 1 tbsp. olive oil and additional sprinkling of salt and pepper until ends turn crisp.
