Jack,
You are just a day over one week old and I can hardly believe that you weren’t in our lives just nine days ago. I will readily admit that I have NOT remembered just how trying it can be to have a newborn in the house, but the beginning coos, babbles and sweet baby smells make it all worth it. You enjoy eating (much like big brother) and you seem to prefer mommy (for now) over daddy (go figure!) You enjoy the short time you spend in the swing and you fight sleep, but I guess that’s to be expected. You are precious, have baby sideburns, and thus far, appear to look just like your handsome daddy. Your big brother loves you (most of the time) & shares his cars with you while you eat. You are a true blessing to us.
