Grilled Teriyaki Cornish Hens

Ingredients
  • 2 Tyson cornish hens
  • 1 c., divided, Kikkoman Low Sodium Teriyaki Sauce
  • ½ c. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 teaspoons of Worstershire
  • 1 tsp. red chili pepper flakes
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Dash of garlic salt
  • Splash of red wine vinegar
Instructions
  1. Spatchcock thawed chicken creating a butterfly effect
  2. Marinate in ½ c. of Teriyaki sauce for a few hours or overnight
  3. Begin to grill over open charcoal flame, browning and crisping each side
  4. Combine ½ c. of Teriyaki sauce and remaining ingredients above, whisking together to create a glaze
  5. When hens are almost fully cooked, begin glazing every fives minutes or so
  6. Remove chicken from heat and serve with leftover glaze on the side
