Five years ago today, I married the love of my life and the father of my child(ren). He is amazing and truly loves our family! We celebrated with night out at Coopers Hawk and the babysitting skills of Aunt Sarai and BFF (Uncle) Ryan for Charlie. The meal was so-so – we particularly LOVED the appetizers (sampled some while waiting) and the chocolate cake with “Happy Anniversary” drizzled in chocolate on the plate. We learned what those funny looking bottles are at the table and enjoyed the company of one another. Yes, we talked about Charlie and how we missed him (Dang cell phone reception!) but it was also a chance to just be together and to just talk. I don’t know if this is where I thought my life would be five years ago, but I’m so happy it is.
