LoveEarth.LoveCloth Review & Giveaway

I am excited and thrilled to be doing my first ever giveaway on our family blog! I hope to offer even more helpful reviews and giveaways in the near future! Stay tuned.
A while back, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a WAHM’s (work-at-home mom) facebook page (LoveEarth.LoveCloth) and store (LoveEarth.LoveCloth Store). Laura, the brains & hands behind LoveEarth.LoveCloth, is a sweetheart and her customer service is AWESOME! I was able to get my hands on some of her cloth diapers (Very Hungry Caterpillar & Milk Train) and they are amazing! 
       According to her store’s website (link above):
“LoveEarth.LoveCloth’s AI2’s [cloth diapers] are one size (fits most babies from 10-35 pounds) with a fold over rise. The diaper shell consists of a woven outer and a microchamois inner; with a hidden layer of PUL, no diaper cover is needed so you can show off your little one’s adorable rump in this diaper! My soakers are extra wide/extra long (4″ wide and 17″ long) and, when folded, give 12 squishy layers of absorbency. Soakers are a combination of organic bamboo fleece and organic bamboo/hemp fleece and are topped with organic bamboo velour. ”
 
 
          As I have ventured into the world of cloth diapers, the language and abbreviations have baffled me (I hope to do a comprehensive post soon), so I thought her own description would work well for our purposes!  These diapers fit Jack (14 lbs, 4 months) VERY well. There is still plenty of room for growth, the thighs are snug and fit well, and the colors just pop! I love letting him hang out in the diapers while we play throughout the day and they are NOT as bulky as compared to some other well-known brands out there. This enables him to move & roll about freely without feeling like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his bum! These are super easy to wash (comprehensive instructions are available on her site) & they hold in the worst blow-outs & heavy wettings! [She also included a super-cute travel size wipe with my first one!]
 
 
         Laura also makes adorable cloth wipes that are simple to use & super soft. With super cute prints on the front and nice soft material on the back, these wipes make the simplest (or messiest) clean-ups a breeze. Her standard wipes are 8.5″ by 8.5″ and are made from flannel & sherpa fabrics. Velour & flannel wipes are also available, but the sherpas do a great job because they are thicker and do well in all of baby’s creases.

  8. Hi sam! I do not use cloth right now but I am very interested. This would give me an opportunity to try cloth wipes. I am interested because of the “green” aspect but Also because of the chemical free cleaning of the bum!
    I am anfan of your blog and a fan of it on Facebook. I will also fan the cloth wipe site 😉

  13. I don’t have a baby – yet – and I have never really thought about using cloth diapers because it seems kinda gross but…I would like to learn more about it and see if it would be a good option for me when the time comes.

  15. I subscribe to your blog, like LoveEarthLoveCloth, and like the Peanuts Gang. I use cloth wipes, because they are so easy at home! 😀 I love the VHC diaper!
