This is our third annual Evergreen Park Parade as a family! We’ve added Jackie Dean to the mix & we set up shop in the same spot as last year (introducing ourselves to other regulars, Pat & Al – a super sweet couple that have gone here FOREVER and now make the trek from New Lenox every year). Both boys were extremely well-behaved and enjoyed the numerous floats. Covered ears during the loud firetrucks & fireworks, but oohs and aahs for both from both boys. Nothing is sweeter than the sound of a quiet ooo from the littlest member of our clan as the bright booms pierced the sky! No Jesse White tumblers (boo!), but beads, flags, and a soft ball for our crew! The family to the other side of us were also repeats and they added a Jack to their mix in the last year as well! (He’s seven months old!) Β Enjoy some snapshots of our extremely fun day! (Which ended in a purple grape sno-cone & a $20 bill on the ground). Not to mention our DELICIOUS shakes from Wojo’s!
I love the littlest ones onsie. Too cute. And so appropriate for many a little boys!

It’s a version of that and DEFINITELY holds our boys and gear easily! Folds up to a VERY compact size – LOVE it!
