The Pumpkin Patch, Part I

October 17, 2011

Note: There is a Part I and II for the Pumpkin Patch because these pictures are plentiful!

I love Fall! And I am happy to have started to instill that in my boys already! Charlie LOVES “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” and adores pumpkins….so of course, we had to go out and scout our own when we had a beautiful day this past weekend!

The Center in Palos Park, Illinois has a great farm and the best part about it? It’s not over-commercialized and the main things we like to do are still FREE!! They have a cute area set up to take pictures, cheap snacks, a free hayride to the patch and a great atmosphere. Pumpkins are only 40 cents a pound! While they do offer the other activities, there is no admission fee for good old-fashioned pumpkin picking – LOVE it!
