We started a tradition a few years ago for Jim’s birthday, the first Christmas we had Charlie! We buy tickets for Brookfield Zoo’s Brunch with Santa and enjoy the animal sights, feast on delicious food, and catch some pictures with the big guy. This year was a bit unorganized, but we still had fun nonetheless. The food was right on par (particularly the meats, just ask Jim!) and Santa was much less….old this year. Mrs. Claus was quite….elderly and did not make it into many of the family pictures of the guests….unfortunately. Jack and Charlie were entranced with all of the characters and Jack (of course) enjoyed the food! Love this time of year!
