Early Friday morning, I responded to a post of someone offering a free 4-pack of tickets to see
Dare to Dream – Disney on Ice! A chance to get out and enjoy an activity as a family is my idea of a great time! (especially when it’s free!) We opted for the 3:30 p.m. showing on Saturday and made our way to the United Center.
Jim was generally unenthused since the show is primarily about princesses, BUT with the main event being Tangled (a show enjoyed by ALL of us, INCLUDING Jim), I knew Charlie would love it! Momma joined us and snagged a lantern for Charlie (if you know Tangled, then you know what I mean). The show did NOT disappoint! (except for maybe the Frog Princess in my opinion….)
The skating was great and our favorite part was when Rapunzel and Eugene were swinging by her “hair” and spinning around. This was truly a jaw-dropping moment for Charlie!
Free parking, $10 bucket of popcorn, 1 soda, 1 pretzel, and a lantern later – this was a great family date and Charlie had a blast!
