“Rock the Palate,” the MasterCard® Priceless® Chicago presents a pop-up dinner at Floating World Gallery. Get ready for the multi-course menus crafted by celebrated Chicago chefs Sarah Grueneberg & Dirk Flanigan, along with world-class mixology pairings, live music, and an exclusive art exhibition curated by Michael Weintrob, all inspired by Chicago’s rich legacy in music.
Our Menu for the evening
I am a self-proclaimed non-adventurous food eater, so when I had the opportunity to try out something to “Rock my Palate,” I was pleasantly surprised. I actually loved the Charred Octopus by Chef Flanigan (complete with Santa Claus Melon – so unique and refreshing!) and the Baby Artichokes with Ricotta by Chef Grueneberg were delicious as well. My other favorites included the Tie Die Pasta and the Cardamom Panna Cotta. I definitely stretched what I typically would choose for myself and was able to experience that thanks to Mastercard!
The Floating World Gallery was a beautiful, intimate setting. With dim lighting and elegant table settings, I can imagine having an intimate event there and just enjoying the room. The photography was breathtaking – with up close photographs & unique use of props – these larger than life images captured my eye and showed the true artistry of Photographer Michael Weintrob.
