Prêt a Paquet heads to Target!

April 12, 2013

Pret-a-Paquet-at-Target

If you’re anything like me, I am completely resistant to bringing my lunch anywhere I go. It’s a hassle to find a place to fit all the plastic baggies. I hate when things cannot be kept cold and I’m less likely to pack something healthy. This usually means that I’m either grabbing something unhealthy or spending money needlessly.

When Prêt a Paquet lunch kits arrived at Target, I was eager to try them out. These lunch kits are stylish, but also serve a great purpose in keeping your food fresh!  The Insulated kits offer a new storage solution to jazz up a hum-drum meal. The insulated sleeve is one of my favorite parts! It keeps the food inside at an ideal temperature longer which means whether you packed a sandwich or a salad, it’s sure to be fresh. Eco-friendly and re-usable, these containers allow you to keep food inside hot or cool for up to three hours.

In terms of patterns, the Chevron is definitely my favorite. With two boys and a husband, I see a ton of BLUE all day long. It’s nice to pack my lunch in something pink and know that when it comes out of the diaper bag – it’s ALL mine (even though they like to sneak a bite here and there!)

The salad kit above is my absolute favorite. Some of my favorite features (in addition to the insulated sleeve) is the fact that top clips to the bottom. I hate having plastic-ware that easily comes apart and spills everywhere. This locks tightly and securely to prevent spills. The other great feature is the dressing bowl with lid that fits neatly into the top. Keeping your dressing the right temperature, but also preventing your salad from getting soggy. I’m much more likely to grab a healthy meal on the goal with this container.

Whether you’re bringing a sandwich to work or packing an entire lunch, these kits are the perfect addition to your work bag, diaper bag or to send with your hubby on his way! They are also great to make your child’s lunch in. The larger, sectioned kit is perfect to keep raw veggies separate from a sandwich wrap or even a cold dip. The extra sleeve is a bonus and definitely upgrades your typical brown bag.
