Welcome back to Manly Mondays! The Mister of the house wanted to share a few of his favorite gift ideas for the menfolk in your life – we hope you enjoy! I especially love #1. Delicious!
‘Tis the season once again for giving. If you need a few last minute gift ideas for the men in your life, I have compiled a list, small although it may be, that should get you the past the cliche tools, cologne, and neckties.
There is more wisdom in Ron Swanson that Socrates himself, and this handy pyramid is a great cheat sheet for the man in your life. There are many sellers on Amazon, eBay, and other sites selling this as a poster, and a framed version will be the finishing touch for an office, bedroom, or basement. Also a gentle reminder to those around you that you mean business.
4. Anything from the Art of Manliness Holiday Gift Guide
The Art of Manliness published their holiday gift guide, and I can’t just take their ideas. You can find them at here. Chief among these on my list would be the locally brewed beer and an amazing idea is the wax seal kit.
Nothing screams manliness like legally shooting the people you know and love. Sure you have to wait for the weather to clear up a bit first, but the outing will be totally worth it. I recommend Bandlandz in Crete. I took my nephew to there for his birthday and they were exceptional at helping the beginners understand the rules and get to play those at about the same level. Their website is found at http://www.thebadlandz.com/.
Manliness takes different forms. For the…say, geekier, I highly recommend this site. The website gathers some really cool things from the internet and puts it all in one convenient place. The ideas here are almost endless. You can spend an entire day going though the site. Seriously, I did that though. My picks? To begin, I’d start with the evolution of the Bat-signal poster, zombie apocalypse bedding, and a Breaking Bad terrarium.
Nothing surprised me more than one year seeing a box of smoked meats at my doorstep one Christmastime. Nothing made me happier than to see the same thing the next year on my doorstep. A friendly Neuske’s employee told me that you will have to order by about 12/16 to ensure the package gets to there before Christmas. I cannot encourage you enough to browse through their gift packages online and send a package of applewood smoked meat to a man in your life. He’s going to have a tear in his eye when he opens it, I guarantee it.
