Spring into Netflix: #Netflix Picks

March 20, 2017

I was asked to be part of the Netflix #StreamTeam and share posts each month based on my experience. We are longtime Netflix users and cannot wait to share our experiences with you! All opinions are of course are own!

Spring is in the air and I am all about the warm weather STREAMING! New season, new finds on Netflix, and I’m ready to share ALL OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS.

New Girl

Listen. I have avoided watching this show for 800 years and on a quick whim last week, I QUICKLY STREAMED ALL THE THINGS. Coach, Schmidt, Winston, Jess, and HUBBA, HUBBA, Nick – I AM BASICALLY OBSESSED. Kitschy, fun, romantic, and hilarious – this is a MUST and I refuse to admit that I….have streamed OH SUCH MUCH since last week. I basically need to get caught up to the present day, but until then – streamin’!

Pete’s Dragon

During boys’ night this past weekend, my crew watched this movie and the first words out of my hubby’s mouth? It was AMAZING. (And there’s not much he has strong opinions about…) but this was a MUST-SEE! The boys loved it, the dragon was BEAUTIFUL, and the cinematography was glorious in the setting! This is a MUST for family movie night!

Goldie & Bear

Jack’s newest obsession is Goldie & Bear. He loves everything about it – the newest episodes and it’s definitely one of his go-to favorites in the mornings. The Goldilocks story with a twist – this fun with enchant your littles and make them smile!

Julie’s Greenroom

NEW TO TRY: The marvelous Julie Andrews debuts her new Netflix original Julie’s Greenroom which is sure to get kids and families singing, acting, designing costumes and much more.

Julie’s Greenroom unlocks hidden passions through all aspects of the arts and gives kids a chance to express themselves. Common Sense Media, experts in balancing digital media and technology in kids’ lives, has some great conversation starters for families on how the performing arts are not only fun, but great for building character.
