Monkeyin’ Around

It was quite the dreary day around here, so I took the opportunity to catch up with some old friends: Annie, Sam, and Alex! I used to babysit Sam back in my law school days and I can’t believe how time has PASSED! I started with him when he was just a few months old and now he’s over four years old! We nixed the zoo and opted for some fun time at Lil Monkey Business in Western Springs and the Honey Bee Cafe. Yum!

Where am I? I think I like this place.

Charlie just hanging on his throne – you’ll notice small fingers in the right of the picture. Charlie was the “hit” of the baby area – many older “babies” came up to him, patted him on the head, and he even managed to catch the eye of an older woman, Grace! Trust me, he LOVED all of the attention!

Lunchtime was interesting with two highchairs, but we pulled it off! Charlie even got his first tastes of crackers and french fries thanks to the sharing of Alex and Sam! (Thanks, boys!)
