Seven years ago, my Aunt Joan (Justin’s mom) passed away at a youngwaytooearly age. One of my favorite memories of her is our trips downtown to enjoy the city when she came in to visit us from the great state of Indiana! Her birthday was this past Monday (September 5th) and in her honor, all 13 of us headed out to enjoy the City! Milennium Park, Grand Lux Cafe, Garrett’s Popcorn, The Bean, Kite-flying and a TON of walking – she would be proud of us! (And the weather was *perfect!*) Miss you more than you know, Aunt.
